The artworks entitled “Ethnicity” have just been released in three series, entitled “Ethnicity One, Two and Three” respectively.  Each series had 24 works and each work is available as an edition of 5.  Each work is available in two sizes, specifically: 40cm x 60cm and 60cm x 80cm.  Regardless of size, each work will be strictly limited to an edition of 5 in total.  The works are black and white toned archival pigment prints on Hahnemuhle FineArt Baryta paper. Matted and framed to museum standard.

As the title suggests, “Ethnicity” is intended as a figurative study of ethnic origin and interaction (not to be confused with “race”).  An interesting comparison of the difference between “ethnicity” and “race” can be found via the webpage entitled “Ethnicity vs. Race”. The three artwork series can each be viewed via the respective links: Ethnicity One, Ethnicity Two and Ethnicity Three.

Inversion, Perversion ~ the series

A recently created series of artworks, consisting of a mix of negative inversion and solarisation (Sabattier effect) of the digital negative.  ”Inversion, Perversion” is a play of reversal, concealing that revealed, revealing that concealed, white to black and black to white, addressing the perception and conception of erotism within society, along with colour and race.  ”Inversion, Perversion” brings a new perspective to classic erotism, challenging traditions, whilst at the same time using age old traditions within the process of creation and production.

A series of 14 artworks, each available in 5 editions (+ 2 a.p.).  Archival pigment prints, on Hahnemühle Photo Rag (308 g/m2).. Dry mounted with a 4 cm passe-partout, framed behind glass.  Print size is 80 cm (31.50″) x 60 cm (23.62″).  Signed, dated and numbered verso and issued with artist’s Certificate of Authenticity.

HiHi

Black and white archival pigment print on Duratran Opaline. Available as an edition of 3 (+ 1 a.p.). Framed against an LED back-lit white-board. Artwork measures 120 cm (47.24″) x 90 cm (35.43″). Signed, dated and numbered verso, with Certificate of Authenticity.

The Thinker

Inspired by Rodin, the Thinker is a series of 6 artworks, created in 2009.  Each is available as an edition of only 4 (+2 a.p.). Black and white archival pigment prints on Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta (325 g/m2) paper.  Matted and framed.  Print measures 60cm (23.60″) x 80cm (31.50″). Signed, numbered and dated verso, with Certificate of Authenticity issued by the artist.

A series of 8 artworks created in 2006, each produced as an edition of 5 (+ 2 a.p.).  Once again, a series portraying female sensuality and sexuality with that added element of mystery.  Low-key lighting and captured motion-blur being key elements of this series and in keeping with my now widely acclaimed artistic style.

A series of 15 artworks created in 2006, each produced as an edition of 10 (+ 2 a.p.).  Bath incorporates an element of abstraction amidst a strong sense of female sensuality .  A truly classic series, and very representative of my now well established and instantly recognisable style, with high-key and motion blur as distinct factors in this series.

“Balance” is synonymous with the balance and harmony of the human condition and the equilibrium of all things as a whole.
