A nun is a woman who has taken vows committing her to live a spiritual life. She may be an ascetic who voluntarily chooses to leave mainstream society and live her life in prayer and contemplation in a monastery or convent (courtesy of Wikipedia).
As the definition states, “a nun is also a women”, a female, with the same physical make-up of any other women. This series of works pays hommage to this fact, to the women within the closed domains of religious beliefs.
