Sigmund Freud postulated that dreams are the symbolic expression of frustrated desires that had been relegated to the unconscious mind, and he used dream interpretation in the form of psychoanalysis to uncover these desires. ”In Dreams” presents you with a visualise insight of this process and a true celebration of female beauty and sensuality!
There are nine artworks in the series because it is common belief within dream symbols, that the number nine is a symbol of completeness, and that it may represent personal fulfillment (in Greek mythology the number nine symbolizes the Goddess, the highest personal fulfillment of the feminine psyche).
A series of 9 artworks, each available as a limited edition of 3 (+ 2 a.p.). Pigment prints on Hahnemühle German Etching (310 g/m2), framed to client’s preference. Measuring 120 cm x 90 cm (47.24″ x 35.43″). Signed, numbered and dated verso by the artist, and each work issued with a Certificate of Authenticity.
